“The unusual industrial architecture tastefully furnished with the most unusual retro finds gave it a real modern day look... Exposed brick and piping, industrial windows, a wonderful wood burner... and the unusual kitchen cabinets just made our two bedroomed apartment a special stay."

For the Love of Coffee and Cake

The holiday apartments have everything you need for self-catering, but most guests quickly realise there are too many good eats around the farm to cook a meal in. With cafés, and local artisans all in one place, The Old Mushroom Farm is a great spot for anyone who enjoys a sweet treat.

"There is a selection of retail shops on-site, including an incredible bookstore and lovely soap and body cream shop. Nearby, Home Slice Café is an excellent spot, offering a great variety of delicious meals." Says Lara.

"We booked a night here specifically so we could spend 2 whole days at the bookshop." , Says S Govan. "While the rest of the Old Mushroom Farm is wonderful, including the excellent coffee..., Nude Soaps, and the crystal store, the best part was the HUGE variety of books at such fantastic prices. We are eagerly anticipating the upcoming expansion of the bookshop and will definitely be back!!"
