A unique, farm-stay in the heart of the KZN Midlands countryside.
Initially operating as a mushroom farm, the original farm buildings have been renovated into modern self-catering units, which accommodate 71 people in the 2 houses, 5 cottages and 2 upmarket BnB units, and 7 boutique apartments.

Each unit is self-contained and fully furnished with 100% cotton linen and an equipped kitchen.​
Staying with us is a retreat that benefits from its proximity to the vibrant community at The Old Mushroom Farm. All of the accommodation units are a short stroll to the Tunnels where artisans procure shops, eateries and event spaces.
Harvest fresh produce from the Community Garden during your stay. Guests of The Old Mushroom Farm accommodation forage for free.

The farm is surrounded by some of the best mountain biking and trail running routes in South Africa and is an ideal starting point for wonderful day trips exploring all the Midlands Meander has to offer.
