CROOKS GOODS grew out of The Old Mushroom Farm’s renovation process. As The Old Mushroom Farm’s buildings were refurbished, the need arose for furniture and fittings that were functional, durable, and suited to the character of the place. Dissatisfied with what was available, TOMF owner, Nick Crooks, decided to make them instead.

What began as custom pieces for the farm; steel cabinetry, encaustic tiles, fireplaces, tables, and light fittings, naturally evolved into a design studio, now making to order for the public. CROOKS GOODS remains rooted on-site, with every object designed and made at The Old Mushroom Farm by our small team of artisans.

The studio reflects values that underpin the farm itself: authentic creation and quality craftsmanship. CROOKS GOODS is part of The Old Mushroom Farm’s wider ecosystem; supporting local making, creating more beauty in the world, and contributing to a place where more creative enterprise can take root.
